African MPs meet in Rabat to discuss migration

Representatives from the Inter-parliamentary Union (IPU), the International Organization for Migration (IOM) - who are organizing the event - the International Labor Organization (ILO), the UN High Commissioner of Human Rights (UNHCHR), and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), are also attending the meeting.
According to organizers, the African MPs are meeting to deepen knowledge on international legislation on migration, and share experiences on the protection of migrant rights, and viewpoints on regional and international migration.

Yes, but it has been pointed out to me that a uniform policy with regard to immigrants in Africa would be inappropriate.
Some are legitimate refugees fleeing violence. Others are the very people who perpetrated the violence, and who seek to spread that same violence wherever they go. These are two quite different types of people and can not be treated the same way.
