Don't Believe the Hype: Blackwater Is Here to Stay
http://www.alternet.org/story/92493/?page=entire
Excerpt:
Anyone who thinks Blackwater is in serious trouble is dead wrong. Even if -- and this is a big if -- the company pulled out of Iraq tomorrow, here is the cold, hard fact: business has never been better for Blackwater, and its future looks bright.

The US Military is sworn to uphold, preserve, protect and defend, the Constitution Of The United States Of America.
Blackwater, which has become a private mercenary army for the President and the CONgress that has failed to stop it, has no such loyalty.
As noted in the article, Obama has been, at best and to be extremely generous, noncommittal.
For further insight, Google:
Blackwater New Orleans
Haliburton Concentration Camps
America, like Iraq, is becoming by foreign powers.

The problem I see with downsizing and privatizing our military and replacing it with private mercenary corporations like Blackwater is indeed that Blackwater has no loyalty to this country or our Constitution. It is loyal only to evangelical Christianity and money (although the sincerity of their supposed Christianity is suspect, since Jesus said that money was Caesar's, not God's). So if we experience an economic crash, which many economists have been predicting for a long time, and were unable to continue paying their multi-billion dollar sole-source, no-bid, cost-plus contracts, it is likely that Blackwater would immediately move to take over our government and I don't know if our military is still strong enough to defend us against them.
Much of our military has been subject to evangelical proselytizing and might align itself with Blackwater. Fundamentalists have a stronger loyalty to their beliefs than to our Constitution or to their country.
Yes, Terry, the camps have been built. And they are not meant to hold undocumented workers. They are meant for us and intended to force us to replace those undocumented workers. The basis of capitalism/fascism is profits and in pursuit of profits lower wages are seen as beneficial and slavery, where no wages are paid at all, as the best way to maximize profits. Employers have to pay some wages, low as they may be, to undocumented workers, but concentration camp inmates are totally disposable and don't even have to be fed, no less paid. They are simply worked to death and then replaced with a fresh batch.
