Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/328.html

Brasscheck TV writes:

Many people wrote after seeing the video about Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that
indeed:

* they had NEVER seen him on television
* they had NEVER seen his name in print
* some were not even aware he existed at all

Yet, he's one of the most deeply informed, insightful, articulate activists in
America today.

By popular demand, RFK Jr on how BushCo are destroying the Constitution with the lazy news media's help.

From the site:

Fathers and sons

George Bush Sr's corrupt idiot son is elevated to the White House where he has succeeded in doing more damage to America than any external enemy in its history.

Meanwhile, the deeply informed, insightful, patriotic son of Robert F. Kennedy is all but banned from the airwaves.

This tells you everything you need to know about why America is where is is today and what track it's on.

This is incredible.

Not just for what he is saying, truly the words of a great statesman, but for how he is saying it. RFK, Jr. had a serious speech defect, spasmodic dysphonia, and it used to be painful to hear him talk. But he has a radio show, he gives speeches all the time, and listening to him in these videos, I wouldn't have known it was the same man. He has miraculously overcome an incurable speech defect by sheer will power.

Personally, I believe that the problem with his speech was caused by the traumas of the assassinations of his father and uncle.

I have only one quibble, and that is that he still speaks of the Democrats as if they were a separate and different party from the Republicans, when his own research proves that there is no difference in values, just that Democrats are better informed. At the legislative and party leadership levels, there is no difference whatsoever, as both are well informed. The two-party system is part of the problem and retaining it cannot be part of the solution. If he is planning a future run for President as a Democrat, he is looking the the wrong direction.

In order to oppose the military-industrial complex and the big multinationals, you cannot do it as part of a political party that they own. The assassinations of his father and his uncle proved that conclusively. That system is too corrupt to be reformed and certainly cannot be reformed from within. It must be abolished and a new system, a system of transparent, citizen owned participatory democracy instituted in its place. There is no other way.

RFK, Jr. is an American hero. He has been a warrior for the conservation of natural resources and he spoke out about election fraud when the Democratic Party was still calling it a conspiracy theory. But he has yet to understand that fascism was written into our Constitution. I hope he learns fast because we need him.

Thank you mark... and I am happy you pointed out that he has a speech defect ... I have known many who displayed similar behaviors, such as the nose rubbing and concentration pauses, during drug use.  I pray he continues to press forward into leadership.

Funny that you mention drug use. His chances of leadership are slim because he was arrested for heroin when he was younger. Of course previous cocaine use didn't interfere with Bush's chances, but he's a neocon and there is a double standard in the U.S. It is also quite possible that RFK Jr. is using legally prescribed meds, of course -- I hadn't thought of that. But I don't think there are any which would have alleviated his speech problem, so that is still a major accomplishment.

To tell the truth, if two members of my family had been assassinated for speaking out, and I decided to follow in their footsteps, I'd probably get as stoned as I could every chance I got, but I doubt if that's what is happening here. It could also be displacement. In overcoming one problem, he may have developed others to take its place. In any event, if he'd just stop identifying with the Democrats and believing that there is hope for our corrupt system, he'd be 100% on track politically. He's an activist for all the right causes, extremely intelligent, and a fighter. But getting himself elected and/or shot really wouldn't be much help to anyone. He has all the qualifications of a revolutionary leader, except that he isn't a revolutionary.

I so agree, Mark... we still refuse to heal this whole mater of Robert and John and if I were Robert Jr I would be a total recluse ... he is courageous as his last name implies
